TROUGH SPLOOSHY. Hand animated. freakin old school right?

VIEWPOINT DRAGONFLY. This is a character I created and animated at Viewpoint Digital for the companies interactive DVD. I rigged up everything too so that it all worked (eg. gears turning, hydraulics extending, etc). It was pretty sweet.

POTTY MOUTH PETE. Hand animated.

CLICKY'S CONGRESSIONAL ADDRESS. and yes, more for Viewpoint Digital. Clicky was the main character in this whole interactive thing for kids. It was for NECMEC to teach kids how to be safe on the web. This particular clip was to plead Congress to allocate more money to keep the program up and running. I did the character animation.

CAVE DOOR. This was actually a model I textured for a cutscene in the game Small Brawl, but I liked it and started making a little animated diorama, adding more cliffs, reworking the geometry, and then threw in some particles, grass, and some trees from tree factory (not the most stable foliage generation plugin going from frame to frame as you'll see there at the end. Probably half the time was spent trying to get those little buggers to stop flickering).

MINI COOPER COMMERCIAL. This was for Viewpoint Digital. If I remember correctly, I think it was a company proof of concept. I did the texturing, materials, animation, and even the flash vector stuff at the beginning.

So then, this is my ANCIENT demo reel from FOREVER ago. Basically the majority of it is all these other animations put together along with anything else I could fit in at the time. Back then I think I might have been trying to lay out a career path for myself in the film/game cinematic area. I'm so glad I went more in the game content direction. Totally fun.

RUN CYCLE. Hand animated (yes, it shows).
